Dr. Amy Iaquinta is the clinic director of Phoenix Healing, S.C. in Glenview, Illinois. Prior to establishing Phoenix Healing, Dr. Iaquinta created a successful practice in Hilton Head, South Carolina where she received the honor of “Best Chiropractor” for two consecutive years. Practicing for over 25 years, she is certified in Upper Cervical Specific technique and employs a highly skilled, low force method, which is very gentle and highly effective for patients. Utilizing the Arthrostim instrument, Dr. Iaquinta is able to deliver consistent and repeatable care patients applaud. One of the advantages of her technique is the comfort and ease on patients requiring no twisting or hard pushing on the back or neck.
Dr. Iaquinta’s desire to provide the most cutting-edge care to patients led her to incorporate the emerging science of functional medicine to her patient care. Functional medicine is a comprehensive system of laboratory analysis and natural treatments that promote wellness and powerful restorative power in the body. Different than traditional medicine, Dr. Iaquinta’s functional medicine procedures work with the normal rhythm of the body bringing balance and healing. Dr. Iaquinta is among a select few doctors in the Chicago area who provide this care to patients.
Dr. Iaquinta began to see even greater and faster results with her patients when she incorporated personalized mindset strategies into her patient protocols. She believes that the mind affects every aspect of one’s life and in order to have total health this area must be addressed. This aspect of her practice makes her care truly unique among her healthcare peers.
The success Dr. Iaquinta’s patients achieved utilizing her mindset tools prompted others outside of her healthcare practice to seek her services for mindset coaching. This led her to offer one-on-one and group mindset coaching to local and national clients.
Dr. Iaquinta received her Bachelor of Science degree from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1988. While there her competitive zeal led her to pursue a second-degree black belt in Taekwondo. She credits her involvement with martial arts as the inspiration for propelling her eventual study of chiropractic. To prepare her for chiropractic, Dr. Iaquinta completed her Post Baccalaureate Program in Pre-Med at Loyola University in 1993. Her Doctor of Chiropractic degree was received in 1996 through the world-renowned Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Her post-graduate certifications are in Functional Medicine and Functional Neurology.
Dr. Iaquinta has a tremendous heart for service and compassion care and has participated in service programs and mission trips overseas including a visit to Moldova where she provided care to several thousand patients. She currently lives in Glenview, Illinois with her two children.
